Accenture layoffs - 2025 What happened Over the past three months, Accenture has dismissed over 11, 000 employees across the globe. Their total workforce reduced to 779,000 against 791,000 individuals. The cuts reflect a massive reorganization initiative of up to $865 million (money used in severance payments, relocation and the closure of certain deals). Why the layoffs Accenture also has a greater emphasis on AI (artificial intelligence), data and digital services. Jobs that cannot be retrained or re-skilled towards this new course are being eliminated at a great pace. The company claims that it is not merely saving money, where it is shifting the workers to the future skills. Money and growth During the previous quarter, Accenture made $17.6 billion, which surpassed the expectations of experts.
